How to Install FilmCraft
FilmCraft publishes native builds for Windows, macOS and Linux (plus FreeBSD and a WebAssembly build). Choose your system for step-by-step help, or use the ArtCraft Launcher.
Windows
x64, arm64 and x86 builds.
macOS
Universal app (Apple silicon and Intel) and a universal CLI.
Linux
x86_64 and aarch64 as AppImage, Flatpak, deb, rpm or tarball.
Latest release
Current release: v0.6.0. Downloads are hosted by the official project on GitHub - this site links to them and does not host installers.
Stay safe
- Download only from github.com/storytold or getartcraft.com - look-alike download pages already exist.
- FilmCraft is free. Anything charging for the download is not the real project.
- Compare your file with the SHA256SUMS.txt that ships with each release.
- Try a short test project (three clips and one music track) before real work - it is alpha software.
